About Troop 431

Every year, Troop 431 opens its doors to new members. We would like to invite you and your parents to visit one of our troop meetings to learn more about our troop and all the great things it has to offer.

Whether you’re looking for fun, adventure, friends, outdoor recreation, or leadership skills – you’ll find them all here!

Troop 431 strives to teach young men about the outdoors through camping and high adventure trips. We also provide opportunities for them to serve their community and to become responsible citizens.

St. Stephen's

Meetings

Location: Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church - 351 Main Street

Troop 431 is Ridgefield’s newest troop.

Our troop runs an active outdoors and advancement program that provides our scouts with numerous opportunities and challenges in leadership, outdoorsmanship, skill development and personal achievement. Troop 431’s outdoor’s program includes a wide variety of activities including backpacking, hiking, winter camping, snow sports, ice climbing, cycling, whitewater rafting/canoeing, visiting historical sites and more.

Our troop is a boy-run and boy-led. This means our scouts actively plan and lead most of our activities, giving them numerous opportunities to develop their leadership skills.

At Troop 431, we understand the active schedules of today's young men and strive to maintain flexibility in our program. As such, we work with our scouts who have commitments in sports, music, religious and other activities to ensure scouting can be part of their busy lives.
